LONDON (Reuters) -
Oil fell $1 a barrel to below $77 on Friday, pressured by a firmer U.S. dollar and as falling equities raised concern about the economy and the outlook for energy demand.
U.S. crude oil for December delivery, which expires later on Friday, was down $1 a barrel to $76.46 as of 7:39 a.m. EST (1239 GMT). (Reporting by Alex Lawler)
